Project Violent Crime Reduction

Project VCR aims to implement and sustain a collaborative effort across criminal legal system partners in Selma, Alabama.  A core component includes forming systems within and across the Selma prosecutor’s office, Police department, and Sheriff’s department to assist local law enforcement agencies with manpower, proper investigative procedures, cross-training, and early case engagement to lower violent crime in the county.
